Mr. Carl Shusterman

Immigration Attorney

Immigration attorney Carl Shusterman has practiced immigration law for over 40 years. Before entering private practice, he served as a Trial Attorney for the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service. Mr. Shusterman has been named one of the top 15 corporate immigration attorneys in the U.S. by Human Resource Executive magazine. He has testified before the U.S. Senate Immigration Subcommittee as an expert witness. Mr. Shusterman has been featured in SuperLawyers Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, the ABA Journal, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times and many other media outlets.

Ms. Jenny Seon

Immigration Attorney

Jenny Seon is the Legal Service Director and a Founding Member of Ahri for Justice. Born and raised in Southern California, she has a keen understanding and deep roots in the immigrant community. For the past 14 years, Ms. Seon has demonstrated a commitment to legal services and immigrant rights. She is known for spearheading one of the most successful immigration legal service programs for low-income and undocumented Korean-immigrants in the nation. By focusing on the most vulnerable community members and aiming to narrow the gap in legal services, Ms. Seon has helped hundreds of immigrants navigate the complex immigration legal system. At Ahri, Ms. Seon oversees legal service programs in Los Angeles and Orange County.

Ms. Rebecca Brown

Law Student, Project Advisor, and Troop Leader

Rebecca Brown is a Santa Monica Girl Scout Troop Leader with Troop 1645. She is a J.D. candidate at LMU Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Prior to law school, she worked for seven years at Central American Legal Assistance in New York City, where she served as a Department of Justice Accredited Representative representing DACA-eligible youth and asylum seekers. She has a B.A. in International Relations with a minor in History from Franklin University, Switzerland.
